Founded in 1992 in Butte, MT, H & H Contracting Inc was incorporated in 1995. Locally owned and operated by Chris Hanson and Chris Hafer, our company is comprised of brothers, in-laws and friends working together to accomplish the goal of offering the absolute best services to our clients.

H & H Contracting Inc was started with personal savings and a small SBA loan to purchase a backhoe and small paving spread. Over many years, H & H Contracting Inc has grown from having minimal equipment and doing only asphalt maintenance work to owning an excellent fleet of equipment such as excavators, dozers, rollers, backhoes, skid steers, pavers, end dumps with pups and a side dump as well as conducting large underground utility excavation, asphalt paving, site development, general excavation, and fencing projects. We have also added a ready mix business, S and N Concrete & Materials, Inc to our company repertoire. Over time our annual income has grown from 150,000 to 6,600,000.

We are fully licensed, insured and bonded for your protection. Our companies are members of the Montana Contractors Association and AGC of America.

Meet the Team

Chris Hafer is a qualified superintendent who has previously worked in the construction industry before forming H & H Contracting Inc in conjunction with Chris Hanson. Chris Hanson has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Montana State University and is an accomplished civil engineer and project manager. Ginger Hanson is our Office Manager and has an M.S. in Industrial Hygiene and a background in Accounting. Ginger has numerous organizational functions to keep the company running smoothly.

Our personnel are members of the local operators and laborers unions. They have 20 plus years of experience in the construction industry. They are skilled operators, laborers and drivers that work hard to get the job done safely and efficiently.
